ceremony arranged at cenotaph in whitehall

Rec. Oct. 31, 5.0 p.m. Rugby, October 30. Arrangements for the celebratiQn of Armtistice Day are completed. AccQrding to the present arrangements the King will attend the central celebrations at the cenotaph at Whitehall and shortly before the service begins the King and the Duke of York will lay wreaths at the base of the memprial. Wreaths suhsequently will be laid on behalf of other members of the Royal Family and the Governments 0,f the IJnited Kingdom, the Dominiqns, India, the colonies and protectorates and on behalf of the services. The two minutes' silence at eleven a.m. as usual will precede the service, and the silence will be ended with the sounding fof the "Last Post." A shoxt service will bring- the ceremony tq a close.
