NEW ZEALAND YACHT CROSSES THE TASMAN CRAFT BEHAVED WELL

— By Telegraph — Copyright).

Sydney, October 30. Displaying fortitude, worthy of old time adventurers in cockle-shells, five men reached Sydney overnight fron?. Auckland in the 13 ton motor yacht, Beth, the party consisting of G. Webb and two sons, of Adelaide, Geeil Bowman and Basil Stallard, of New Zealand. They were attacked by storms and terribly confused seas, many of which broke on board. The wind was howling all the time. One of the Webb family was thrown from his bunk three times, and seasickness was prevalent aboard. The yacht struck wretched weather all the way from Lord Howe Island, but the little craft rode the sea well. Some members of the party cherished not the slightest hope to get ashore safely.
