London, October 28. "I regard Armistice Day as a dying institution," says Rev. P. Carpentar, vicar of.New Mills (Derbyshire), who refused to hold a special Armistice Day serviee on November 11. He said he w.ould eonduct a serviee, but it would be the ordinary Sunday morning serviee and added: "A, good church-goer does not need a special day to think and pray on the lines of Armistice Day."
