IMPORTANT FINANCE PROBLEMS TO BE DISCUSSED

Rec. Oct. 24, 5.5 p.m. Canberra, October 23. The Premiers' Conference and the Loan Council meetipg will open in Melhourne this afternoon. The ipain business is to arrange the necessary funds to provide for the works programmes pf the various Governments and for assistanpe in some form to the wheat industry, and possibly the wool jndustry, and to discuss the possibility of funding portion of the fioating debt.
