Wellington, Thursday. The funeral of Mr. G. C. C. Black, M.P., took place to-day, the iriterment being made at Karori eemetery. The service was conducted by Father Smyth, assisted by Father Carmine, of Motueka. Those present included the Speaker (Sir Charles Statham), Hons. J. G. Goates and J. G. Cobbe, and members of botfx Houses. The pall-bearers were Messrs McIntyre (representing the Legislative Conncil), O'Brien and Atmox-e (representing the House of Representatives), B. O. Cahill (representing St. Patriek's Gollege Old Boys' Association), J. Quinn (representing Marist Old Boys' Association) , and F. Rodgers (representing Motueka district) .
