GIRLS' CLUB

BRIGHT DANCE AT ST. LUKE'S. Decorations ef bright broom and foliage made St. Luke's Hall look very attractive for the Girls' Club dance last Monday evening. The stage was tastefully arranged with bowls of golden marigolds, where some of the non-dancers spent a pleasant evening at eards. Gay music was supplied by Mr. Painton's orchestra and several enjoyable extras were played by Miss M. Mactier. Mrs. Hemphill and partner were the successful couple in the Monte Carlo. Members of the committee present were: — Miss M. Mactier, who wore black laee; Mrs. Mewburn, black georgette; Mrs. Hemphill, wine satin beaute; Miss E. Sharpe, fiame georgette and blue embossed coatee; Miss E. Hitchen, spotted ehiffon; Miss I. Wright, white spotted organdie; Miss N. Allen, betty blue satin and ninon. Others present were: — Mrs. R. Stewart, lettuce green floral ninon; Mrs. C. Robinson, shell pink silk net; Mrs. W. Robinson, vieux rose satin; Mrs. J. Lunt, powder blue floral ninon; Miss D. Hamilton, japonica pink satin; Miss C.
