London, Oct. 3. An announcement issued to-night from the office of the High Commissioner of the Irish Free State (Mr. J. W. Dulanty) says: "In accordance with advice tendered to His Majesty by the President of the Executive Council of the Irish Free State, the King has approved of Mr. James McNeill relinquishing the office of Gov-ernor-General of the Irish Free State." Aceording to a statement issued in Dublin, it is proposed that the duties of the Governor-General shall be temporarily diseharged by a commission of three judges, including the, Chief Justiee (Hon. Hugh Kelly) .
