OLD PUPILS' DANCE
VISITING OPOTIKI BASKETBALL PLAYERS GUESTS OF EVENING A most enjoyable dance was held in the Majestic Ballroom on Wednesday evening last by the Rotorua Old Pupils' Association in honour of the visiting Opotiki basketball team. The two Monte Carlos held during the evening were won by Miss E. Kirlcbride and Mr. R. Dawson, and Miss N. Devin and Mr. .Scally. During die evening Mr. E. G. Guy thanked the Opotiki players for their visit, and said that the girls of the home team would look forward to the return match next year. Among those present were: — Mrs. . E. G. Carruthers, Opotiki (white crepc de chine), Miss E. Kirkbride, Opotiki (white satin and coatee), Miss Dil'las Edwards (black polka dotted net) , Miss N. Clarlce, Opotiki (fiame taffeta), Miss M. Day, Opotiki (black georgette), Miss K. Shalfoon, Opotiki (green floral georgette), Miss K. Pepshon, Opotiki (pink fische net and taffeta), Miss Thompson, Opotiki (wine satin), Miss Jean Isdale (betty blue georgette and tulle), Miss Hilda Dawson (black lace), Miss Colleen Cronin (lawn and gold floral georgette), Miss M. Dowling (green floral taffeta), Miss M. Donaldson (coffee lace and ninon), Miss Rose Brownc (black and white lace), Miss Ella Hardie (red satin and floral coatee), Miss J. Worrall (primrose crepe dc chine), Miss Inga Anderson (sea green satin beaute), Miss I. Paine (black lace), Miss Avon Hawkins (green satin and yellow crepe de chine), Miss I. Lillas (green figured organdie) , Miss Vivien Hale (pink lace), Miss J. Winslade (floral pink organdie), Miss S. Wilson (white satin), Miss M. Barnes (shell pink ninon), Miss C. Wilson (moonlight blue satin), Miss F.,Bates (lacquer red georgette), Miss S. McLean (apricot taffeta), Miss N. Devin (shell pink georgette), Miss P. Wilkinson (shell pink lace and coatee), Miss A.
