W.D.F.U. EVENING

The women's division of the Farmers' Union held a very successful social evening in the Farmers' Social Rooms on Tuesday evening. The first part of the evening was spent in playing flag 500 and after an excellent supper, provided by the ladies of the committee had been served, the remainder of the evening was passed in dancing. Mrs. Stavely supplied the music and Mr. A. Martin and Mr. Stavely acted as M.C.'s. The winners of the 500 were Mrs. C. Snell, Mrs. Gray, Mr. J. O'Sullivan jun., and Mr. Higgery. Booby prizes were won by Mrs. C. Newth, Miss Hennessy, Mr. C. Hill and Mr. E. MacDonald.
