MARK OF RESPECT PAH) TO DEPARTED MEMBERS

Wellington, Friday. To-day the House recorded its high sense of the faitliful services rendered to New Zealand by four exmembers, Ilon. William Pember Reeves, Mr. Tuiti Makitanara, Ilon, Edward Henry Clark and Mr. Hugh Sutherland V alentine, who had died durnig the recess. Tributes to their memory were paid by speakers from all sides of the House and as a mark of respect, the House adjourned until Tuesday afternoon.
