Masterton, Tuesday. ' On the motion of the Mayor, Mr. D. Jordan, the Masterton Borough Council decided at a meeting to-night to grant the sum of £100 to the Borough of Wairoa for the relief of distress brought ahout by the recent earthquake. The money is to he forwarded immediately.
