A BUSY WEEK
The coming week promises to be a full one for hunting enthusiasts among the fair sex. The Rotorua and Bay of Plenty Hunt Club bring thair 1932 season officially to a close on the 23rd. Three hunt meets have been arranged for the week on Monday, Thursday and Saturday, while on Wednesday a point-to-point steeplechase is sckeduled to take place at Arawa Park, finishing the day with a ball in the evening at the Majestic ballroom. Invitations for the dance have already been issued and a record ; attendance is anticip'ated as this oqcasion is one of the danees of the season. Prizes won during the afternoon will be presented in the evening hy the Master, Dr. H. Bertram, and Mrs. Bertram, while sub-committees have been at work arranging all details — no stone is heing left unturned to make each function a huge success and enjoyable for one and all.. Many prominent lady riders throughout the district have signified their intention of taking part in the week's programme. The ladies' committee responsible for the social arrangements are Mesdames Thos. Jackson, R. Copeland Smith, S. H. Hay, F. C. Bunyard, R. Griffiths, S. Parlane, C. H. Managh, Misses E. D. Hinton and J. and B. Bertram.
