CROQUET CLUB

Ladi'es of the Whakatane Croquet Club spent a very pleasant afternoon last week as the guests of Mrs. Holmes. The gathering was for the purpose of raising funds for the club. Flag 500 was played, nine tables being oecupi'ed. Afternoon tea was served and musical honours were accorded the hostess for the use. of her rooms.
