UNEMPLOYMENT BOARD'S NEW RELIEF PLAN
-By Telegrn pli — Copyright)
Wellington, Saturday. A scheme by which the Unemployment Board plans to give relief to seasonal workers has been finalised. The principle is that the maximum measure of relief during the off period will be sueh that when added to the earnings for the working season it will make the total not greater than £26 above the full measure of relief the worker might have gained had he been wholly engaged on relief for the whole year. Seasonal wox'kers will be required to secure confix-mation of their eaxmings from the freezing companies or other employers.
