DOMINION TOURNAMENT NEARING FINAL STAGES Dunedin, Thursday. At the Dominion women's hockey . tournament, Central Otago surprised everyone by drawing with Marlboroughx making it possible for Otago A to go into the running for the K Cup. Otago A and Marlborough are now level in the A section, and will play off to-morrow. Eastern A has maintained its lead in the B section, and this team wilL have to play- off with the winners of the A section final on Saturday, un-_ less it happens that Southland B de- = feats it, and Canterbury has a win,= in which case Canterbury and Eastern A will have to play off the final of the B section. The following are the- results of to-day's play: — - A Section: Central Otago A 1, drew with Marlborough, 1; Eastern B, 1, drew with Wellington, 1; Otago A, 3, defeated Southland A, nil. B Section: — West Coast A, nil, drew with West Coast B, nil; Canterbury, 4, defeated -Otago B, 3; Eastern B, 4, defeated South Canterbury, 1.
