Stratford, Thursday. Manawhenua beat Taranaki by 18 to 14, after a good game played on a greasy field. Taranaki was superior throughout the opening spell, but in ; both the backs and forv/ards, Manav/henua came to light with a vastly mproved showing throughout the second spell.
