BOWLING GREENS
(To the Editor). Sir, — In reply to our visitor from Hamilton we wish to point out that we have carefully watched the attention given to the greens by the Tourist Department, not only this winter, but in the past, and in our opinion the greens are in a better condition now than they have been for some seasons. It is a recognised fact that the winter in Rotorua is a very severe. one, but when spring commences, growth is very quick. We feel that credit should be given where due and wish to thank the Tourist Department for the assistance it is giving us. We know it is of no use complaining when it is to'o late, but suggest to our visitor that he wait until the job is finished, when we extend to him a hearty welcome to a good game on what we feel confident will he an excellent green. — We are, etc., TW-0 CLUB MEMBERS. Rotorua, August 19, 1932.
