WOOL FOR JAPAN

(Press Assn. —

AUSTRALIA'S OPPORTUNITY IF QUALITY IS RIGHT

■By Telegraph — Copyright)

Brisbane, August 19 Japan this season will require from Australia approximately 600,000 bales of wool, providing the classing and quality are up to their former standard. This estimate was made by Mr. K. Kurashigo, of Kanematsu and Company, who passed through Brisbane after a visit to Japan. Mr. Kurashigo added that Australia, however, will have to pay more attention to the classing of her wool if she wished her good name for firstclass wool to be maintained in Japan.
