CONFISCATION
SPANISH REPUBLICANS ANNEX LANDS OF ENEMIES Madridj, August 19. After a day long debate, support,ed by 262 votes to 14 votes, the land confiscation Bill was passed. The premier, Senor Azana declared that the Republic was at stake, either it must disarm its enemies or its enemies would destroy the Republic.
