Mrs. Pollock, who has been a guest of Mrs. , Carruth'ers, of Seddon St., while she was in Rotoruap-retumed to her home in -Epsom last week. Miss K. Carnachan, of Amohau St., ,left pn Saturday for 'a holiday trip to Auckland. Miss L. Hjarris, Miss M. Carter, Miss T. Johnston, and Miss G. Jones motor.ed to Hamilton during the ,week-end to attend the "coming of jage" dance of Miss May Luxton, formerly of Rotorua, who now resides in Hamilton. Miss Mary Bertram returhed home last Saturday to .spiend the 'varsity vacation with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. H. Bertram, of "The Mount." During the week-end, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Meredith, aecpmpanied by their i two daughters, motored through to : Otorohanga. | Mrs. Nichol, of Cambridge, spept j last week-end in Rotorua. j Mr. and Mrs. M. Pott, of the North ! branch of the Bank of New Zealand, I are on a holiday visit to Auckland, j where they are staying at the Royal j Hotel. I Mrs. C. Young, of Hinemoa St., left on Tuesday to sp'ehd a few days in Auckland. i Miss Pat Buddle, of Auckland, is paying a visit to Rotorua and is staying at Brent's Bathgate House. i Mr. and Mrs. J. S- Mathias, of Haupapa St., are spending a few days in Auckland ,and are staying at the ! S.tation Hotel. j Mrs. B. M. Greene and family leave | on Friday to spend the school vacai tion at Thames and Auckland. Miss Eileen Handcock, who for some years has been on the nursing staff of the King Street private hospital, left Rotorua yesterday to take up an appointment at the New Plymouth Hpspifal. Miss M. Bickford, late of Whangarei, has joined the Rotorua Post Office exchange staff.
