Wellington, W e dnesday , At to-day's meeting of the Wellington Education Board, Mr. T. Forsyth, was unanimously elecbed chairman for the next two years. There were no other nominations for office. Returning thanks for re-election, Mr. Forsyth said that matters edueationally were in a state of flux. He said that a further move in some quarters would abolish1 education boards. "I am pleased, therefore, he said, "to be your chairman for the next two years so as to be in the fight to take a hand in what occurs". Dunedin, Wednesday. Mr. James Wallace was this morning re-elected chairman of the Otago Education Board, a position he has held for 14 years. In acknowledging his re-election he said a big fight was looming on the question of departmental or local control, and the sooner it came the better for all.
