GOLD SEIZED
PASSENGERS ON ZEALANDIA ABANDON THEIR TRIP WELLINGTON, Friday. Two passengers, a man and his wife, left the Zealandia this afternoon, just as the vessel was about to sail. A customs officiai had seized a bar of gold valued at £175, which was being taken out of the country without an export license. The two passengers decided to abandon the trip and watch their interests in the precious ingot.
