GIRL ABDUCTED
FOUND LIVING WITH YOUNG MAN IN DESERTED WHARE PALMERSTON N., Friday. William Thornton Bond Proctor (21) of Oroua Downs, was sentenced to twelve months' hard labour by Mr Stout, S.M., to-day, on a charge that he did take away an unmarried woman under the age of 18 years against the will of her father. The police said it was the second time that accused had abducted this girl. They had been found occupying a desei'ted fiaxmiller's whare on the banks of the Manawatu River at Foxton. Accused pleaded guilty
