DOMINION UNEMPLOYMENT WELLINGTON, Fridajl An increase of 634 is reported in the number of registered unemployjed throughout the Dominion for tlie week ended August 1, according to the Acting Minister' of Employmenb the Hon. A. Hamilton. i The total number on the books of the Labour Bursau is 55,837, of whorn 45,515, were engaged on work under i No. 5 Scheme, leaving 10,322 unplaced. ; i)
