FATAL ACCIDENT
TRAM CONDUCTOR KILLED WHEN HEAD STRdKES POLE AUCKLAND, Friday. Fatal head injuries were received by George McLean, a middle aged tram conductor, at Onehunga this afteimoon. McLean was Isaning out of the back of the car when his head struclc a cross pole which knocked him into the roadway. The tram travelled some distance before the motorman was aware of the accident. McLean was taken to the Auckland hospital and was found, on arrival, to be dead. Deceased lived in Onehunga.
