Rec. July 29, 5.5 p.pa. OTTAWA, Thursday. Lord Hailsham, in the course of an Interview with an Ottawa journalist, lenied that Mr. R. B. Bennatt, offered to mediate between the Free State and Great Britain. "What is the use of mediating with a man like Mr. de Valera, who told me he wants a r ^public with Ulster included, when Ulster does not want to be included. Mr. de Yalera is really fighting a shadow," he said.
