BERTRAM ARRIYES BY AIR MAIL AT PERTH

PERTH, Tuesday. The German aviator Bertram arrived by air-mail 'plane from Wyndham. He received a telegram from his companion Klausmann stating that the latter is making steady recovery. Bertram, in a broadcast speech, said he was still so affected by his harrowing experiences that he could not suppiy any details. Bertram and Klausmann were the German airmen who, after flying from Hongkong, crashed on the Australir.n coast and wandered for some weeks in an isolated region until they were found when almost at the last gasp by a party of aborigines from th^ Drysdale Mission Station. Bertram made a good recovery, but Klausmann's mind became deranged because of the hardships experienced.
