LONDON, Tuesday. The Secretary of State in Council has granted Sir Geoffrey De Montmorency, Governor of Punjab, leave of absence for urgent reasons of health. The King has been pleased to approve that Khan Bahadur Captain Sardar Sikander Ilyat Khan, senior member of the Executive Council of the Governor of Punjab, shall act as Governor in Sir Geoffrey De Montmoreney's absence.
