Rec. July 19, 5.5 p.m. LOS ANGELES, Monday. Ludy Langer, the famous swimmer, who toured Australia in 1921, to-day accompanied by Frank Beaurepaire, visited -the pool and suggested an irnprovement ' in Charlton's turning, j which would result in his showing greater speed. Ryan recorded a good quarter of a mile training to-day. Scarf is again back in form. Barwick's work out was continued by Iong walks and light exereises. The sculler Pearce, had an exceptionally good trial this morning. The New Zealander, Black is suffering from soreness of the back and eased up in his work. Savidan worked strongly, and Miss Kench.is showing improved form. - "
