Hislop, issued a statement prohihiting a pfocession through the city, and pointad but that a deputation could interview the authorities without holding a proeession. , A meeting of relief workers in the United Front Organisation decided tb cancel plans for a p-ublic demonstrktion, but a branch of the Unemployfe'd Workers' Movement organisation decided that the demonstratioh as arranged for the Wellington relief workers will definitely take place.
