Adam Hamilton, denied that any arrangements have been made hy him to receive a deputation from the Wellington unemployed relief workers on Saturday. It was stated among a section of the Wellington unemployed relief workers that h demonstration had been arranged, and that it was intended to wait unon the Minister and other members of the Unempioyment Board. Questioned upon the point, the Minister said no arrangements whatever had been made. This is undei'stood to mean that any hopes the relief workers may have of waiting upon the Minister, will be frustrated.
