PRICES AT TE PUKE. TE PUKE, Friday. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Ageney Company, Ltd., report: — We held clearing saies this week on account of Messrs. Rumbles, Evershed and McKenna. Although backward and unsound cows were hard to sell, any of the cows calving early and in good eondition made fair values. Range of prices: Best dairy cows, calving early, £6/15/- to £8/15/-; later calvers, £4/15/- to £5/10/-; old and unsound cows, £2/5/- to £3/15/-!^ best springing dairy heifers, £6/10/- to £8/2/6; other heifers, £4/2/6 to £5/15/-; heifer calves, £1/2/6 to £1/14'/-; breeding sows, £2/15/- to £3/10/-; store. pigs, small, 9/- to 11/6; farm horses, £18 to £25; breeding ewes, 9/2; 4 and 6-th. wethers (store), 9/6. Implements and sundries at ruling rates.
