-By Telegraph — CopyrJght.)
WELLINGTON, Wednesday. "We have practically discontinued granting relief to able bodied men/' said Mr. W. Castle, chairman of the Wellington Hospital Board, in an interview this evening. "Briefly," he said, "the position is that where the Government has eompleted its maehinery for providing eomplete relief we have stopped issuing rations. We have not quite eompleted arrangements at Lower Hutt, Imt so far as we are concerned, the issuing of rations will cease to-morrow. "The point of difliculty is knowing when a man is flt. We are in touch with the board regarding the class known as B2 men and borderline cases. He considered the board should accept the responsibility, but the question has not heen quite settled.
