BASKETBALL AND HOCKEY POSTPONED OWING TO RAIN. Basketball. All basketball matches under the control of the Rotorua Basketball Association were postponed on Saturday on account of rain. School matches: The Ngongotaha school gained its second win in a match against the Rotorua school C team on Saturday in the Primry Schools Bsketball Contest. The score at the final whistle was 15 goals to nil. Ladies' Hockey. The final of the Robertson Cup competition of the Rotorua Ladies' Hockey Association which was to be played at the Government grounds was also postponed and will be played next Saturday should the suggested match between a Rotorua side and the combined Whalcatane-Te Puke clubs not eventuate.
