IIARD TIMES FAIL TO PUT OUT MANITOBAN GOVT.

WINNIPEG, Saturday. The hard times failed to defeat the Manitoban Government. Thursday's election was fought largely on the past record of the Bracken administration. The Conservatives had attacked the administration of the financiers. The Dominions' politics also played a part, Mr. John Bracken (the Premier) hlaming the depressed conditions in Manitoba in part to the tariff policy of the Federal Government. On Friday morning the position of the parties was. — Government, 28; Conservative, 4; Labour, 1; Independent, 1; Doubtful, 22; Deferred elections, 2.
