DRIVER ARRESTED AND ANSWERS CHARGE OF DRUNKENNESS

OTOROHANGA, Thursday. A collision between a service car and a car driven by Rangi Moerua, occurred on the main highway at Pio Pio, both vehicles being damaged. . The smaller car getting the worst of the impact. As a result of the crash, Rangi Moerua was arrested by the Otorohanga police, and appeared before Mr . R. Green, J.P., the following morning on a charge of intoxication whilst in charge of a car. He was remanded until Friday next. Bail was allowed.
