MASTERTON, Thursday. A double drowning tragedy is believed to have oceurred at Wairarapa Lake to-day. Two young men went out in a boat swan shooting, to-day being the opening of the season. They were aecompanied by a dog which has returned. An npturned boat has heen observed on Lake Unoke, near Lalce Ferry. One boy worked for Mr. Perrin, of Pirinoa, and the other was from Wellington, but their names cannot yet be ascertained. The tragedy occurred on the eastern side of the lake.
