WAIKATO BRIDGE
HAMILTON DEPUTATION INTEItVIEW S MR. COATES WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Representations in connection with the state of the present traffie hridge at Hamilton and the' erection of a new structure in its stead were made to the Minister of Public Works, the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates and the Minister of Finance, the Hon. W. Downie Stewart, by the Mayor of Hamilton, Dr. F. D. Pinfold, the borough engineer, Mr. R. Worley, the chairman of the Waikato County Council, Mr. W. Newell, and the engineer, Mr. A. A. Woodward, and a representative of Waipa County Council, this morning. The deputation was introduced by the Minister of Health and the memher for Hamilton, the Hon. J. A. Young. After an interview with the Minister s, Mr. Worley waited upon officers of the Puhlic Works Department with whom the position was also fully discussed. The deputation, which took the form of a more or less informal discussion, was not open to the Press, but it was subsequently learned that a considered reply will be issued to the deputation's representations in the course of a day or two.
