VICTORIA'S CONCERN IN N.S.W. ELECTION CAMPAIGN

SYDNEY, Tuesday. Sir Stanley Argyle, Premier of Victoria, speaking at a North Sydney election meeting, said he had come to speak in Sydney because he was convinced that the situation was one in which the welfare of his own State was vitally concerned. If New South Wales fell the whole of Australia would fall. He added that the finances of the other States were affected by what occurred in New South Wales, and he qnoted the Mortgages Taxation Bill as as example of legislation which would affect the whole of Australia.
