LONDON, Tuesday. An Irishman, Stanley Woods, riding a Norton maehine, won the Junior Tonrist Trophy race in 3 hours 25 minutes 25 seconds, a record. He covered seven cireuits, totalling 264 miles, at an average speed of 77.16 miles an hour. W. Handley, riding a Rudge, was second. His average .speed was 76.35 miles. Tyrcell Smith, riding a Rudge, average 74,02 miles, was third. Thirty-two started.
