PLAYERS AND SPECTATORS FIGHT WITH FENCE PALINGS

SYDNEY, Tuesday. There was another disgraceful Sunday ■ tf ootball riot, )when teams at Wentworth Park came to blows and the spectators joined in. Three constables eventually separated -the teams, and escorted one to the ambulance room. Barrackers for the other side tore palings from fences and the grandstand and attacked the ambulance room, which was damaged. The' police escorted the players from the Oval.
