LOCAL COMMITTEE ALL ROTORUA HOTEL LICENSES GRANTED AT ANNUAL MEETING TRADING AFTER HOURS The annual meeting of the Rotorua Licensing Gommittee was ■ held at noon yesterday. Mr. S. L. Paterson, S.M., presided, with Messrs.. N;-:M. Keane, L. C. Ryan, R. Grifiiths and A. B. Merriman. The following licenses were granted: — v , ' .. . Eric Harvey, Grand, Rotorua. P. The fees for accommodation and unconditional licenses will remain the same as last year. Dealing with the question of trading after hours, Senior-Sergeant J. Carroll commented strongly upofi the action of certain licensees ili supplying liquor to parties and f emales after dances, and the chairman intimated that in the event of such cases being proved in court they would be most severely dealt with.
