RIFLE SHOOTING
ROTORUA MINXATURE CLUB'S MONDAY EVENING RESULTS The usual weekly shoo of the Arawa Miniature Rifle Club was held at the Drill Hall on Monday night. In view of the weather conditions the attendance was good, 44 members being present. The shoot off between G. H. Weir and W. Donaldson for the Merriman Cup was won by G. H. Weir. The shoot off for the highest score off the rifle with self handicap, resulted as follows: R. Norman 58, 12, 70; R. Gardner, 51, 16, 67; W. Hay 51, 15, 66. The following are the results for Monday night. Possible 70. Scores of 55 and over: W. Bates 66, J. McAlees 63, W. Currie 63, H. Hardcastle 62, L. Alexander 62, L. Dornbush 62, R. Reid 62, G. H. Weir 62, H. Whitley 62, S. Walker 59, W. Winslade 58, H. Winslade 58, F. Stewart 58, R. Norman 58, T. McElroy 58, W. Hollis 58, H. Montague 5-7, K. Donaldson 57, T. Iremonger 56, W. Donaldson 55.
