THE JUDGE'S LIST EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE CONCLUDES FINAL ARRANGEMENTS ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAMME The executive committee of the Rotorua A. and P. Association held its final meeting before. the show, yesterday evening. Mr. H. P. Ford presided and there was a very satisfactory attendance of members. The Bank of New Zealand wrote notifying that two amount, £1000 and £2000, had been placed to the credit of the association 'on fixed deposit for 12 months at current rates of interest. The association of A. anl P. Assoeiations agreed to accept two years' subscription and arrange for the Rotorua Association to again become affiliated. The action of the secretary in granting the Mamaku Women's Institute free space at the show was approved. Mr. Shalfoon offered to run an Old Time Ball on the last night of the show. The expenses would run into £12 10s and all over that amount would be divided 50-50 with the. association. In the event of receipts not reaching £12 10/-, the association would be at no loss. It was resolved to accept the offer. The advertising committee was instructed to make what arrangements were necessary for the 500 tournament but to limit the association's liability to £2. On the motion of Mr. Burrows it was decided to entertain the visiting judges at dinner on the first evening of the sh'ow and a small committee was set up to make the necessary arrangements. The tender of the Rotorua Hardware Co. for 200 drinking cups for the poultry pens was accepted at £5. The sum of £3000, at present on fixed deposit, will be free on June 24, and it was decided to deposit in the Bank of New Zealand £1000 for six months and £2000 for 24 months. Fruit, Pot Plants and Flowers: Mr E. Allen, Auckland. Dairy Produce and Honey: Mr. C. Dempster, Hamilton. Miscellaneous : Mr H. Hamilton, Rotorua. Maori Arts and Crafts: Mr. H. Hamilton, Rotorua. Photography: Mrs Ashton. Painting : Mrs Ashton. Baking: Mrs Sloane, Whakatane. Children's Section : Judges in other sections. Jams and Bottled Fruit: Mrs Runciman, Auckland. Needle and Fancy Work: Mrs H. J. S. Johnson, Whakatane.
