TRAPPED IN CHURCH BY FLOOD WATERS OF RHINE RESCUED THROUGH R.OOF

BERLIN, Tuesday. When praying in a church near Coblenz, twenty-five people were trapped by flood waters, following a cloud burst which extensively damaged the Rhineland. The waters had almost reached their necks when the police rescued them through the church roof. Five people were drowned in the same village.
