HAMILTON, Tuesday. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd. report that at their weekly Frankton stock sale to-day, for an average yarding of ox beef the demand was a little weaker than at last week's sale and values receded slightly for cow beef, of which a heavy yarding came forward. Competition was keen for good quality cattle and values were about on a par, while average to poorer quality met with a poorer demand and quotations show a slight decline. Heavy fat bullocks made £5 17/6 to £6 10/-, average quality £5 5/- to £5 12/6, lighter do". £4 15/- to £5 5/-, light £4- to £4 12/-, prime fat cows £8 18/- to 4 7/6, average quality do. £2 17/6 to £3 17/6, lighter £2 5/- to £2 15/-, light £1 15/- ro £2 2/-; killable £1 10/- to £1 14/-, stores 19/- to 27/-, boners 14/- to 18/-, vealers £1 7/- to £1 10/-, others 19/- to 26/-. Sheep. The entry comprised a heavy offering of fat ewes and fat lambs, wethers being penned in only average numbers. Values declined on all classes slightly as the result of the extra heavy otrerings. Prime fat wethers made 14/- to 16/6, average do. 12/to 13/6, lighter 11/- to 12/-, prime fat ewes 6/9 to 7/6,' fat ewes 5/5 to 6/8, lighter 5/- to 5/4, prime lambs 13/- to 14/-, average do 11/to 12/6, light 9/- to 10/9. Pigs: There was a small yarding of fat pigs which consisted mostly of porkers and a full yarding of stores. Baconers were firm at late rates, but porkers were 'easier. Store pigs sold at fully late rates. Heavy baconers made 38/- to £2 2/-, medium baconers 32/- to 36/-, heavy pork-

ers 26/- to 30/-, light porkers 17/to £1 1/-, large stores 10/- to 13/6, slips 6/- to 8/-, weaners 3/- to 4/-.
