HAMILTON, Tuesday. At our Frankton sale to-day we had a heavy yarding of all classes of fat sheep, reports the Farmers Cooperative Auctioneering Co., Ltd. Exeept in the case of extra prime quality wethers, which remain firm, all other medium quality. sheep were slightly easier. Anj extra heavy yarding of all classes of fat cattle came forward and in practically every case, with the exception of a few odd pens of . extra prime quality, the market was easier throughout. Store cattle came forward in good order and attracted a large bench of buyers. Although competition was not over brisk, the whole yarding changed hands under the hammer. There was a smaller yarding of fat pigs with prices for baconers remaining firm at last week's values. Porkers were slightly easier, but stores and weaners showed a marlced improvement. Quotations: Sheep — Extra prime fat wethers 16/8 to 17/-, lighter prime fat wethers 12/6 to 14/9, fat ewes 6/9 to 8/6, lighter and unfinished ewes 4/6 to 5/-, extra prime fat lambs 18/-, heavy fat lambs 13/6 to 15/-, lighter fat lambs 10/6 to 12/6, unfinished lambs 8/3 to 9/9. Cattle: Runners 29/- to 39/-, vealers 19/- to 20/-, heavy prime fat steers £6 2/- to £6 17/-, light fat steers £3 6/- to £5, heavy fat heifers £2 19/- to £4 14/-, heavy fat cows £3 15/- to £4 6/-, medium fat cows and heifers £2 to £2 17/6, killable cows 22/6 to 35/-, good quality 3£year Shorthorn steers £2 9/- 'to £2 19/-, 3£-year P.A. steers £2 15/- to £2 18/-, 2S-year Hereford steers up to £2 11/-, 2£-year Shorthorn steers £1 19/- to £2 1/-, poorer sorts £1 to 30/-, yearling steers 10/- to 16/-, Hereford heifers up to 22/-, poorer sorts 5/- to 10/-, 2-year Jersey heifers R.W.B. £2, boner cows 2/6 to 8/-.
