WAIHOU STOCK SALE
The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Conipariy, Limited, report that at their Waihou sale on Friday last, they penned an ■ average yarding of sheep and a heavy yarding of cattle, consisting mainly of store and boner cows. Late rates were maintained for sheep, prices being cotisiderably easier for all classes of cattle. There was a full yarding of pigs with prices for all classes remajning on a par with late quotations. Quotations: Sbeep : Fat wethers, 14s; fat ewes, 7s ld to 11s; fat lambs, 10s 6d to 13^ 3d; forward conditioned ewes, 5s to 5s 6d; store ewes 2s to 3s; store lambs, 6s 2d to 8s. Cattle: Fat heifers,; £2 to £3 15s; fat bows, £i 13s to £2 5s; killable cows, £l 4s to' £1 10s; fresh store cows, l6s to £1 ls; boriers, 5s to i4s ld; potter bulls, £1 8s to £2 iOs; 18-mo'fith Sho'rthofn steersy. £1 i2s 6d; heifer calves, 10s to 15s.
