HAMILTON, Tuesday. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited. report having held their usual weekly stock sale at Frankton sa!eyards to-day. Fat sheep: There was an average varding and prices generally were firm at full late rates. There was also a good yarding of fat lambs. Prime heavy wethers made up to 15s 8d and ehoice quality medium weight wethers sold at 12s 9d to 14s 3d; Tght and choice quality, 11s 6d to 12s 3d; small wethers, 8s ld; young heavy fat ewes sold at 9s to 11s; good fat ewes, 7s 9d to 8s 3d; inferior ewes, 6s 3d to 7s; prime heav?^ woolly lambs sold at up to 14s 8d; good prime lambs, 12s 6d to -14s; second quality lambS', 10s to 11s; mferior and cull lambs, 8s to 9s 3d. Fat cattle: There was a smaller yarding than usual and prices for mr'me bullocks hardened on last week's values. Cow and heifer beef was on a par with late rates. Best voung cows and heifers sold un to "4; good quality fat cows, £2 15s to 13 10s; dairy cows sold at £4 15s; inferior, £2 to £3 10s. Only a few vealers were yarded and these were My of rough quality and sold at late rat.es. Pigs: There was a medium yardng of fat pip's and a full yarding of --tore pigs. Fat pigs sold at skghtly easier rates than last week. Heavy '.acoTWs Iwought 39s; medium, 33s ho 36s; bfht, 28s to 32s 6d; best oorkers 20s to 24s; lighter, 14s to 18s. Store pigs met with only slight enquiry. Best stores brought 12s 6d to i4s; slips, 5s to 6s; best weaners, 3s to 4s.6d; others, 2s to 3s 6d.
