WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The death was announced this afternoon of Dame Christina Massdy, widow of the late Rt. Hon. W. F. Massey, 'after. a. brief illness. Dame Christina Massey, who was born in 1863, is survived by five children, three sons ,and two daughters. The sons are: Mr W. W. Massey, M.P. for Hauraki, Mr. J. N. Massey, M.P. for.Franklin, and Mr. J. F. Massey, a member of the legal firm of Earl, Kent, Massey and Northcroft, of Auckland. The daughters are Mrs Laurence Taylor, of Auckland, and Mrs C. W. Salmon, of Wellington. The .funeral will take place on Thursday. A service will be held at St. Andrew's Church, The Terrace, at 10.45 a.m. and the remains will he conveyed to Point Halswell, where they will be placed alongside thos'e of her husband, as provided in the Massey Burial Ground Act, 1925. Dame Christina Massey had been ailing for a considerable time, but not until the past week had her illness takeri a critical turn. '
